About Ferdinand Community Center

The Ferdinand Community Center opened its doors in 1989 and completed a major renovation and facelift in 2016, which provides a beautiful and elegant environment.  The main Community Room can accommodate up to 700 guests and can be booked jointly with the Mobel Room, which was just recently expanded to accommodate up to an additional 180 guests.  The Mobel Room is the perfect compliment to the large hall.   The Mobel Room can also be used for a Friday night rehearsal dinner at no extra charge if it is booked on Saturday.  Adjoining our facility is a refurbished waterfall and a lovely gazebo, perfect for outdoor wedding ceremonies.

The Community Center Booking Manager, Rhonda VanWinkle, will work closely with you to assist with your decisions as you plan your special day.  The community center provides five catering companies and will help you work through menu options.  You can text or call Rhonda at (812-639-2723) or you can click on our web page ( and immediately check our calendar to see our open dates and other important information.  We would be honored to host your special day.
